I read the hints written on the computer terminal on the right. All of the hints refer to the single player game but many also apply to the multiplayer version. Once the multiplayer game has loaded, a version of the following screen appears.
The character shown is my Krogan Shaman. A beginning player will probably have the Human Male Adept shown. A later post will cover this screen. The top two items on the menu in the center of the screen are used to enter an existing game lobby ("Quick Match") or to create a game lobby of your own (not recommended for very new players as you do not necessarily know the various maps nor the difficulty levels of the enemy or gameplay).
If you select Quick Match, you will get the following screen. This screen will be covered in the next post.
